1 Selecting a Dojo
Choose your preferred style or area to display a list of relevant dojos.
2 Applying for a Training Experience
Once you’ve chosen the dojo where you’d like to experience training, use the “Contact this Facility” button on the dojo’s page (located on the right side or bottom) to send a direct message to the dojo and confirm if they can accommodate you. Please apply for training at least 3 weeks before your desired date.
3 Replies from Dojos
If you do not receive a reply within 1–2 weeks after sending a message to a dojo, please contact Karate Navi via the “Contact Us” button located at the bottom left of the top page of Karate Navi.
4 Timing of Inquiries
Contact the dojo after finalizing your travel dates to Okinawa. Inquiries made without specific travel dates or more than three months in advance may make it difficult for the master to confirm their availability.
5 Sending Messages to a Master
If you wish to send a message to a particular master, always use the “Contact this Facility” button within the master’s dojo page. Messages sent via the “Contact Us” button on the Karate Navi homepage will not reach the master.
6 If You Plan to Train at Multiple Dojos
If you wish to train at multiple dojos, it is recommended to inform each master in advance as a manner.
7 About Karate Guides
Karate guides offer interpretation services and historical tours for karateka visiting from overseas. Please check the profiles of individual guides for details, such as fees and services provided. Contact them directly with any inquiries.
